एक वक़्त था की मिथिला देश का सबसे industrialized एरिया हुआ करता था।
बिहार के लगभग हरेक जिले में कोई ना कोई औद्यौगिक मिल या संयंत्र था। कटिहार, किशनगंज, भागलपुर से लेकर मुजफ्फरपुर, सीतामढ़ी, चंपारण तक चीनी , जुट, खाद , पेपर मिल, सिल्क उद्योग, सुत उद्योग का जाल बिछा हुआ था।
लोगों को रोजगार के साथ साथ किसानों को फायदा पहुंचता था। मिथिला Vaz Vance N Industrial Zone , एक उत्पादक क्षेत्र था। हमारे यहां आने वाले ट्रक खाली आते थे और जाने वक्त उत्पादन से भर कर।
आज बिहार लेबर जोन बन गया है। आज हमारे सारे मिल और उद्योग बंद हो चुके हैं। हमारे यहां आने वाले ट्रक आज भर कर आते हैं और जाते वक्त खाली। आज औद्यौगिक उत्पादन के नाम पर हमारे यहां कुछ भी नहीं उत्पादित होता है। हमारे लोग हजारों किलोमीटर मजदूरी करने जाने को मजबूर हैं। हमारी मिलें खंडहर हो चुकी हैं।
जिम्मेदार कौन......????अब सोचना होगा ....!!

There was a time that Mithila used to be the most industrialized area in the country.
Almost every district of Bihar had an industrial mill or plant. From Katihar, Kishanganj, Bhagalpur to Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Champaran, there was a network of sugar mill, jute mill, manure mill, paper mill, silk industry, cotton industry, food processing industry.
Millions of people benefited from direct employment as well as crores of farmers. Mithila Vaz once n Industrial Zone used to be a productive zone. The trucks that used to come to our place were empty and filled with industrial production on the go.
Today Bihar has become a labor zone. Today all our mills and industries are closed. The trucks that come to our place come today and are empty on the way. Today nothing is produced here in the name of industrial production. Our people are forced to work for thousands of kilometers. Our mills are in ruins.
Who is responsible ...... ???? Now have to think .... !!
