भिखारी के रूप में मिले राम सीता।
आज कोपरगाँव (महाराष्ट्र) से अपने रास्ते पर, मैंने एक बुजुर्ग दंपति को सड़क के किनारे चलते देखा।
जैसा कि मेरी सामान्य आदत है, मैंने बस भिखारी दिखने वाले जोड़े से दोपहर होने के कारण भोजन के लिए कहा परंतु उन्होने मना कर दिया फिर मैंने उन्हें 100/- देना चाहा, पर वे उसे भी लेने से इंकार कर दिया, फिर मेरा अगला सवाल आप लोग ऐसे क्यों घूम रहे हैं, फिर उन्होंनें उनकी जीवनी बतानी शुरू की - उन्होंने 2200 किमी की यात्रा की और अब द्वारका में अपने घर जा रहे थे।
उन्होंने बताया कि मेरी दोनों आंखें 1 साल पहले चली गई थीं। डॉक्टर ने कहा कि ऑपरेशन करना बेकार है, तब मेरी मां ने डॉक्टर से चिरौरी कर ऑपरेशन करने को तैयार किया, तब डॉ. तैयार हुए और ऑपरेशन करना पड़ा। माताजी श्री कृष्ण मंदिर गई और भगवान को संकल्प कर वचन दिया कि यदि उनके (बेटे की) आँखें वापस आती हैं, तो बेटा पैदल बालाजी और पंढरपुर जाकर फिर वापस द्वारका आएगा, इसलिये मैं माँ के वचनों के लिये पदयात्रा कर रहा हूं । फिर मैंने उनकी धर्मपत्नी के बारे में पुछा तो बोले कि वो मुझे अकेले छोड़ने को तैयार नही थी, आपके लिए रास्ते में भोजन बनाने के लिए साथ रहुंगी और साथ निकल पड़ी...
मैंने शिक्षा के बारे में पुछा क्योंकि वे 25% हिंदी और 75% अंग्रेजी बोल रहे थे । मेरी बुद्धि सुनकर सुन्न हो गई और मैं दंग रह गया उन्होने लंदन स्थित ऑक्सफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी से एस्ट्रोनॉमी में उन्होंने 7 साल की पीएचडी की है और उनकी पत्नी ने लंदन में साइकोलॉजी में पीएचडी की है ( इतना सीखने के बाद भी उनके चेहरे पर गर्व नहीं है, नही तो अपने यहाँ 10'वीं फैल भी छाती फुलाकर चलता है ), इतना ही नही वी. रंगराजन ( गवर्नर ) और कल्पना चावला के साथ इनका एक कामकाजी और दोस्ती का रिश्ता था और वे अपनी मासिक पेंशन एक अंधे ट्रस्ट को देते हैं। वर्तमान में, वे सोशल मीडिया से बहुत दूर रहते हैं। सड़क पर जाने वाले हर जोड़े भिखारी होते हैं, *ऐसा नही है* ।
कोई बेटा माँ के वचन के लिए, भगवान राम बनने को तैयार होता हैं और कोई अपने पति के साथ सीता भी । इस कलियुग में आज मैं जिन लोगों से मिला, मैं उन्हें राम सीता ही समझता हूँ।
सड़क पर खड़े रहते हुए लगभग 1 घंटे तक उनसे बातचीत की। ऐसे गहन विचारों ने पूरे मन को सुन्न कर दिया। अहंकार दूर हो गया । और मुझे लगा कि हम झूठे ढोंग में जी रहे हैं। उस व्यक्ति के बोलने की सादगी देखकर, ऐसा लगा कि हम इस दुनिया में शून्य हैं। मैं इस पैदल यात्रा को देखकर चकित था। यात्रा के तीन महीने हो चुके हैं और घर पहुंचने में एक और महीना लगेगा।
